1969 Corvette Vintage Race Car. Small block Chevy 355. Fresh motor.
Motor: Approximately 600 hp. Air box, Willey's carb, Victor Jr. intake, MSD distributor, MSD
ignition with rev limiter, aluminum heads (Brodix, Track II) with port work done, roller
rockers, roller lifters, rev kit, Lunati cam, 13.5 compression, Crowler rods, 4 bolt main
caps (cross drilled), forged steel crank, Milodon road race oil pan, aluminum high-flow
radiator, aluminum water pump and pulleys, 2 piece steel bell housing with scatter shield,
Tilton high torque starter.
Clutch: Ram 5 1/4 triple disk, Ram hydraulic throwout bearing.
Transmission: Muncie 4 speed with Hurst shifter with lockout.
Gears: 411
Suspension Front & Rear (completely rebuilt): Vet Brakes, Strut Rods, Rear Shocks (Bilstine),
Front Shocks (Carrera), Front Springs (4500 lbs), all new front bushings. Front wheel hubs are
vet brake aluminum hubs.
Brake calipers are dual pin in the front and single in the rear with a new Tilton brake and
master cylinder and pedals. Gauges on dashboard for front and rear brake pressure and
adjustable brake bias.
Body style: 5 point roll cage with a NASCAR style front framework. Removeable front clip on
the original 1969 Corvette frame. Wheels are American racing wheels.
Truly a great road-race Vett. Raced with HSR, VSCDA, Midwest Council. Last raced October 1997.
Won the long race in all divisions.
