Engine:
John Betts built new FORD ProCup motor. The engine has the latest generation Ford
"N" heads. Cup/Busch style small journal crank & block. Nothing but the best
lightweight parts money could buy. Carrillo, Callies, Jesel, Crower, Baker, Barnes,
Dynatech, CV Products, Moroso/Nelson, Quarter Master, etc.
Fuel System:
FuelSafe 22gl Kevlar fuel cell, mechanical pump, Peterson filters, and complete
dry brake system.
Oil/Water System:
C&R radiator (with fittings located) sits on top of seperate C&R oil cooler
w/finished ductwork. Large Peterson oil tank mounted and plumed behind driver
w/camlocked cover w/2-duct mounts. Car has $3500 worth of XRP lightweight lines
in which saved an additional 25lbs.
Electrical:
All gauges are located in custom camlocked lightweight dash. Dash also has
switch-extension box built in. Camlocked MSD box panel, twin coils, coil selector
w/wires, starter solenoid, master switch and ground plugs are located.
Gearbox:
T-10 style 4-speed w/Hurst Heim-loint shifter. Tex Racing magnesium tail section.
Richmond front section. Trans has 700 laps on it since it's last rebuild. Works
perfectly.
Final Drive:
Tex Racing nodular 9" w/6.55 ratio, Stock Car Racing pump and Seatrap cooler. Gear
has 400 laps on it since new. Works perfectly.
Body:
Penske-South Racing hung the USAR legal "ultra-light" steel body. It has the 2002
USAR Nose, Tail & Composite greenhouse. Finished with very little Bondo and white
paint. All windows are installed, black painted boarders w/aluminum bracing.
Chassis:
Billy Hess ProCup Standard Snout Chassis w/dropped "pick-ups", All round tubes
(except for door bars/A & B hoops) are lightweight "ground" tubing. All interior tin
is as "light" as possible. Rear tin is done in "high down force" configuration. Truck
arm cross member is a reinforced 3-position mount. Upper A-frame mounts were arranged
to fully capitalize on the ProCup tire configuration. Firewall and rear Jack-bolt
cross-members has "X" bracing added for improved weight transfer.
Shocks:
3 race old Carrera GT's. Valving set up for Lakeland USA Speedway.
Front Suspension:
All New Hess/Laughlin, Hess Dropped Spindles w/Hopkins style steering arms,
All springs are by Hyper-Coil.
Rear Suspension:
Hedgecock lightweight truck arms, Speedway Engineering 9" housing, Aluminum
Tubing Jack-bolt & Trackbar extensions.
Brakes:
6-piston AP fronts, 4-piston AP rear, Tilton Aluminum pedal assembly w/CNC
bias adjuster, twin brake and single clutch CNC aluminum Master cylinders,
All brake lines and fittings are installed. All parts are new save for the
rotors and calipers, which are rebuilt.
Steering:
Sweet Power steering 12:1 box and Aluminum Pump.
Wheels:
Bassett ProCup-light wheels. Black.
Interior:
Chassis is painted with IMRON light Grey, fire repellant Shifter boot
w/camlocked housing, custom built legboards installed, Simpson Window &
Helmet nets, custom made Butlerbuilt driver-side Door Bar Pad. VDO
instruments, Rear view Mirror, 10-lb fire system.
Spares:
All parts in this package are "Good as New" and ready to use. 1 1/2 Extra
sets of Lightweight Bassett ProCup Wheels mounted with Goodyear's, 2) Carrera
GP shocks, 4) Left Lower A-Frames, 3) Right Lower A-Frames, 5) Sway Bars of
assorted sizes, 7) front & 5) rear Hypercoil springs, 1) Cowl induction box,
1) Left Truck Arm, 2) Right Truck Arms, 2 Pr) Upper A-Frames, 1) HP Drag Link.
