SCCA Formula Atlantic (FA) Race Car

Formula Atlantic - Reynard 90-H

This car has 1000 total miles on it. Car was run as a pro car and in its first race was shunted at Lime Rock Park. Left front corner came off and hit the driver. Car was sent to Hass for repairs, an immaculate job was done but the car was never driven again. I purchased this sight unseen from the owner’s race shop where it sat on blocks, covered and pickled.

Every detail of the car has been meticulously gone through. The Tub has a Carbon Fiber floor over the original Aluminum Honey comb. The original motor mounts were removed and chromoly bungs were laminated into the carbon tub with a new engine mount plate that picks up the Toyota Long Rod 248 hp Loyning’s motor. 0 hrs are on a fresh block full rebuild. Front uprights are fabricated billet, new master cylinders, calipers were sent back to AP and pressure tested, -2 break lines through out, carbon clutch, new chromoly rear trunions with new motor braces, Power Glide dif full rebuild by Demski Racing with new gear box bearing carrier side plates. New roll bar with full engineering specifications to FIA 2004 standards, SCCA approved. Shocks rebuilt by Stimola, new Eibach springs, new upright bearings, new Fast-forward studs. There are a large inventory of spares available if interested. The car is Vintage legal but has a current log book for the SCCA. It has run in the 2:04 range at Sebring the first time the car ran in 14 years, and is a consistently in the low 51.3 at Lime Rock with a fat old guy racer.
