We began the year with 16 goals and objectives, and was able to either meet or exceed 12 of them. Among the New features and Functions that were added during the year were: - Message Boards and Forums - Free e-Mail accounts - Free Monthly Newsletter - Race Ticket Section - Various New Sanctioning Bodies and/or Divisions At the end of 1998, we had projected some figures for 1999. We met and exceeded our forecasts: - Projected number of ads was 550. The number exceeded 1,000. - Projected dollar value of the ads was 5.5 Million. We hit 11.8 Mil. - Projected Web Site hits was 5.0 Million. We exceeded 8.7 Million. The 2 Main areas where we did not achieve our goals were: Electronic Commerce, and Advertising revenue. We have an agreement signed and ready to go for The Racers Network to sell a complete line of parts and accessories, at a substantial savings to buyers. In order for us to offer this additional service to you, we have to purchase some expensive computer hardware and software. We just have not realized the advertising monies coming in to make these purchases. We have attempted to boost our sales effort with the addition of Sales Reps, and by running a "High Powered" ad in the countries Leading Sales Representative publications. We have been putting in an extra effort in securing advertising dollars. We want to be able to continue to offer our services at No Charge to you. At the same time, we also want to keep providing you with new and useful features and functions. ************************************************** We have a new set of goals and objectives for the New Year. We want to be able to add the following new features and functions: - Auctions. - e-Commerce with our own parts and accessory online store. - Site Re-design. - Chat Rooms. - Improved Message Board/Forums. - Racing News. - Viewer Polls. - Fantasy Leagues. We are also projecting new numbers that we want the site to achieve during 2000. These numbers are: - 12.0 Million Web Site hits. - 20.0 Million dollar value of the classified advertisements. - 1,800 classified advertisements. ********************************************************************** We have reached a tentative agreement with iDEAL International, Inc. to house Auctions for The Racers Network. The plan calls for several categories including: - Race Cars. - Parts. - Trailers. - Transporters. - Tickets. - Collectibles. We are excited about being able to add this New Feature to the Site. In November two users of The Racers Network placed thier classified Advertisements on e-Bay. The response that they achieved was outstanding, and showed us that we needed to offer this to you. The plan is, of course, for users to be able to place an auction at No Charge. We are attempting to have the Auctions operational in the 1st. Quarter of the year. We hope that this will be a Great Addition to the site. ************************************************** Internet Advertising Sales Agents Wanted.
