To Sign-Up for your Free e-Mail Account, go to: http://www.racer-net.com/email.htm ************************************************** NEW YORK (Sept. 21, 1999) - The Grand American Road Racing Association, which announced its formation today at a New York City press conference, will feature three categories of competition according to sanctioning body officials. The three categories include: SportsRacer, GT, and International Sports Sedan. The SportsRacer and GT categories will be subdivided into various classes, which are based upon performance level and construction methods. The Racers Network will include Grand American Road Racing Assoc (GARRA) to it's categories list, and will offer tickets in the Racing Event Ticket section. Canton, OH. 44718 ************************************************** Since last months Newsletter, we have received a few suggested changes to our Internet location. The one change that most everyone wants, is to have the date that a classified advertisement is either entered or changed to be displayed. For example: The Main page for DWARF cars would not just show the date that the page was last updated, but it would display the date for each advertisement on that page. This is a tough request. The date an advertisement comes in is a part of the DataBase, so thats not a problem. The software that we use in displaying the pages is the hold-up. The software does not accomodate displaying the dates. We are looking into a software modification so that we can accomplish this. We will keep you posted on our progress. ************************************************** Nitrous Oxide Systems located in Matteson, ILlinois has joined our group of advertisers. They have a one month campaign for October, to see how much traffic we can send to their site. They were committed in particular to NASCAR, and Drag Racing. A product of Chryslers involvement in Motorsports was the Hemi Engine. It's raw power coupled with the Dodge and Plymouth mid size bodies were a combination that was hard to beat in NHRA and IHRA.
