The Company

The Racers Network™, which is the #1 source on the Internet for MotorSports classified advertisements, located in Canton, Ohio, opened in February of 1998. The company Offers consumers worldwide the broadest selection of motorsports classified advertisements for all forms of race cars, trailers, transporters, and racing related parts. The Racers Network™ carries nine-ten times as many items as its closest competitors, and is responsible for over twenty times more sales than its competitors. These products are offered in a format that is specifically geared to it's market niche, derived through decades of exposure to the motorsports industry. This format has proven to be successful, enabling The Racers Network™ to capture over 70% of the Internet Motorsports classified advertisement business.

The Racers Network™ was founded in February 1998 for the purpose of providing racers worldwide, the opportunity to sell their used race cars to potential buyers utilizing a format devised by racers for racers. On the first day of operation (02/21/1998) there were 47 other Internet competitors in this market place, thus relegating The Racers Network™ to 48th.

In November 1999, The Racers Network™ moved into 1st place ranking. It has enjoyed this status ever since. It appreciates a status on the Internet that produces traffic, which is unlike what the market niche had become accustomed to. The numbers of monthly unique visitors and monthly hits is what measures Internet traffic. With in excess of 250 million total sites on the internet, The Racers Network™ is ranked in the top 3 tenths of 1 percent of all internet sites in both categories. It has also won the coveted Golden Web Award for 2001-2002 for internet integrity.

The original premise was to offer these classified advertisements at no charge. With the dot com fall-out of 2000 and the plummeting banner advertising revenues that ensued, The Racers Network™ had to rethink its position. The industry had shown that charging for classified advertisements was an Internet "kiss-of-death" unless you were a member of the upper echelon. On January 21, 2001 The Racers Network™ began charging a nominal fee of $24.95 to post a classified advertisement. In the ensuing year, it has maintained its #1 status, it traffic numbers increased, and the company has shown the industry that monies can be charged for quality classifieds.

The core of the business is to offer a "one-stop" solution to motor sports competitors and enthusiasts. The business has evolved through adding new features on a yearly basis. In 2002, the company will open an on-line motor sports collectibles dealership, and an on-line parts store. In addition to this, classified advertisements will be added for recreational vehicles, boats, pickups, and motor cycles. With such a presence, the company believes it will secure its competitive position and present a formidable barrier to entry for other would-be Internet and "Bricks and Mortar" competitors.
